For those that do not use the inner cover as a secondary entrance/exit, this is really a necessity for air flow, moisture release resulting in a comfortable queen and colony! The Ultimate Hive Cover is a durable 10-frame hive cover that is made from recycled material and never needs painting. Air space, between its constructed double wall, supplies insulation to keep hives cooler in summer and warmer in winter. The lightweight design is easy to handle and will support hive bodies when turned upside-down. Includes an overhanging drip edge to prevent water from entering hive, and a passive ventilation system to improve airflow throughout the hive.
