Evans Cedar Beehives, LLC is a small company from Cape May County, New Jersey. We are not your average, "run of the mill" beehive company.
We make exceptionally well-built beehives (and some other things!) in small batches from LOCALLY and RESPONSIBLY harvested Atlantic/Eastern White Cedar.
Each hive is unique- No two look the same, yet all maintain standard dimensions beekeepers need.
We are proud to to be helping the environment by using environmentally friendly harvest methods as well as supporting the beekeeping community, both locally and elsewhere.

I just received my beehive from Evans cedar today...my hive arrived earlier than expected. I seen many comments about how the smell of cedar would illuminate the room and I thought people were exaggerating. However when I opened up my hive the smell just FILLED the air, all my dogs came up to the hive to also check out where that wonderful smell was coming from. My entrance reducer also made out of wood was included a surprise I was not expecting. This hive is going to last me years and years. To all of you out there debating whether or not to spend the extra money or buying from a hive maker not as well known (YET) as the others, take a leap of faith and take the risk.
